two years ago, i had a bass tutor my playing actually got somewhere n we had a laugh sadly, he ran away to cambridge because i wouldn't go out with him and i haven't really played much since (and anything i have played has been pants to put it nicely) does anyone know of any bass tutors who don't cost the earth? or even a decent "teach yourself" book kisses n pixiedust

Try this www.wheatdesign.com/bassbook/ it's free. I love teaching people to play but can never find enough time. If there is anything you want to know just ask. also check the links section of this board for some other bass related sites.

TEXTOh right, here was me thinking that I`d gone to Cambridge because a great friend of mine had died in a motorbike accident. I didn`t realise that it was due to my apparent lack of dating skills!! Nice to hear that ye`ve got a very healthy-sized ego though - if only ye`re looks matched it. Sorry to the other bassboarders for this, but bull***t I can handle unless it`s shovelled in my direction. Disappointing comment Midori. Mac.
