Hi Jeni, The best thing you can do is not listen to any1 and go to a good music shop ie. salop or one of the many in wolverhampton and try a few different ones and decide for your self-chose one that has the rite sound for your style, yes warwick is very good but not that versatile! try 'trace' or if you have SOME cash try 'messa' let me know what style you play and maybe i can say more.

When gigging, I put my Warwick Infinity 2000 thru either my Mesa-Boogie Bass 400+ for that warm 60's sound, or Gallien-Krueger 2001RB for that crunchy 'flea' tone, into an Ashdown ABM810 8x10 cab, for that crispy slap funk sound as demo'd by the awesome Mark King. However, if i'm in the mood for some smooth jazz, i go thru my Hartke 215XL for deep thundering lows. And i use whirlwind 100% OFC leads w/ gold plated neutrik jack connectors. However, when i'm recording, I rig my Fender Jaco Jazz into a peavey microbass - small but it packs a punch..... and it doesn't break my back carrying it around, LoL!!!
Peace out !

Jeni I use a Trace 150W combo - I am pleased with it. I have had it for about 3 years. It has enough power for any gig - I have never needed to turn it up to more than about half power. I use a USA Fender jazz guitar with Elites for strings and have a good tone - Great for the funk etc. This amp has been a real workhorse and never given me any trouble. It's better than carrying a large stack about as well. Mind you, I would like a stack myself but I think it would be a bit of an overkill for the stuff I do Where abouts are you playing in Wolves? What stuff do you play? www.gran-torino.com
