Why not brother? A clinic is a f'ing great idea. This is coming from the man who gave me some long needed inspiration and got me to start practicing - Loving the bass at the moment!!

I just think that ether no1 would turn up and we would look silly or loads of people would turn up from afar and be disappointed lol...
I think starting off on a smaller scale would be better maybe schools or something? ;D

Perhaps we should do some market research first - do our best to contact as many bassists as we can locally, through any musician contacts we have, and start by finding out how many would be interested, what styles and levels they want tuition in, etc. Maybe a small article in the local rag would help as well.
I think the first stage is a get together to see exactly who's willing (and I think the above posts confirm the basis of this) and decide how we want to play it.
If anyone's free, we're playing support in Ironbridge on Saturday - perhaps a suitable meeting point, assuming everyone else isn't playing?!
